S-100: System

System

I put an S100 system together in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Some of the boards came as bare PCBs which I assembled myself; others were bought complete. It worked well thoughout the 1980s, running CPM and UCSD Pascal, and was the starting point both for research work in the local hpspital and for teaching in my university.

It was mothballed 35 years ago. I can’t remember whether it was still working at this point, but on unpacking recently it isn’t booting up. So, unless specified otherwise, the “Working condition” of all of these items is “Unknown”.

I would prefer someone to take on the system as a whole (along with boards and spare drives), but if this isn’t possible, I’m prepared to part with individual components. All system components and boards come with some sort of manual.
